So today I was watching an animal documentary. A snake spotted a frog on the ground and was making its way towards it. As the the snake was about to strike the frog swelled up. It didnt move, it didnt even look at the snake. It just stood its ground. It was the snake that made a quick escape. The commentary said that due to the frogs audacity to not move the snake thought that it must be really dangerous, so it fled.
It reminds me of the scripture in Ephesians 6.13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].
I see the swelling as the infilling and activation of Gods word. Also, its eyes were fixed, but not on the problem.
Let’s fix our eyes on God…Be dangerous and stand! (with God’s full armour).
This really blessed me and I hope it blesses you too x
